John Velazquez on favorite Flower Alley
		The Woodward Stakes was run at Saratoga for the first time this year. A competitive field went to the gate including  '05 Travers winner Flower Alley, the always competitive Sun King and perennial favorite Kentucky Derby winner Funny Cide. At the finish long shot Premium Tap and Kent Desormeaux defeated Second of June to capture The Woodward. Future plans for Premium Tap are undecided at this time.
