This horse appears to be the real deal. Sailing easily to his fourth straight Grade I win under regular jockey Javier Castellano (7 1/2 lengths, the largest margin since General Assembly in 1979). Bernardini appears to be heading for The Eclipse Award for three-year-olds. If the A.P. Indy-Cara Rafaela colt can do well in The Jockey Club Gold Cup and Breeders' Cup Classic (both races against older horses) he could be looking at Horse of the Year honors.
