Suffolk Downs Celebrates Seabiscuit

In 1938 Seabiscuit won the Mass Cap. He ran at The East Boston oval eight times during his career. To celebrate his accomplishments, Suffolk Downs dedicated a  bronze plaque to the famous colt who is the subject of a highly acclaimed movie this summer. The plaque is located near the clubhouse entrance. The lawn jockey in the winner's circle has also been painted with  the silks of his owner Charles S Howard.
