Champion filly Azeri got caught up in an insane speed duel with Roar
Emotion setting it up for a strong late run by Storm Flag Flying. In a
race named after her undefeated grandmother the Phipps color bearer
caught Azeri in late stretch and won by a length and a quarter in a time
of 2:03.63. Storm Flag Flying is aiming at The Breeders' Cup with a
possible prep in either The Beldame at Belmont or Spinster Stakes at
Keeneland on October 9th.
