When Winston Thompson crossed the line on Bill Mott's Miesque's Approval he posted his sixth win for the day. It was the first time in his career that Suffolk's leading rider had accomplished that feat. The last six win day was recorded by Rudy Baez in 1997. Thompson gave credit to his agent Max Hall and trainer Kevin Clark for his great season and day.
