When the gates opened for The Louise  Kimball Stakes, Ask Queenie was at 1 to 5, and with good reason. The three-year-old Key Contender filly won The Amelia Peabody Stakes as a two-year-old Mass bred filly, and although winless in '04 had finished in the money in every start.  Under little urging from Winston Thompson, Ask Queenie gained a fourteen length win. Ask Queenie is trained by Lori Lockhart and is owned by Laurine Barreira
