John Dillon's Like Now took the lead at the start and held off the late charge of undefeated Keyed Entry to post a 36 to 1 neck victory in the 54th running of this prep for The Wood Memorial. It was the first time past six furlongs for the gelded son of Jules and earned him a ticket to The Wood. Keyed Entry made a gallant late run and barely missed catching the winner. Favorite Achilles of Troy finished fifth and was vanned off after the race. Like Now was ridden by Fernando Jara.
