Magnificent Song and Garrett Gomez head to the starting gate
Magnificent Song and Garrett Gomez took the lead from Take the Ribbon in late stretch and went on to take her first Grade I win in this Turf affair for three-year-old fillies. In her last start Magnificent Song won the Grade III Lake George at Saratoga. Magnificent Song, a gray Unbridled's Song filly, is trained by Todd Pletcher and is owned by L and D Farm. She has won five of her nine career starts.
