The late scratch of the Breeders' Cup Sprint winner Silver Train left the Carter a wide open affair. Three horses battled to the wire and at the line Bishop Court Hill managed to gain a neck victory over Sir Greeley. A six year old gelded son of Holy Bull, Bishop Court Hill was ridden to his Grade I Carter win by Jose Santos. The Melnyk Stables color bearer is trained by Todd Pletcher.
