The Alabama StakesKentucky Oaks winner Flute continued her domination in the three-year-old filly division with a convincing win in the Grade I Alabama Stakes. The Juddmonte Farm color bearer made every pole a winning one as the odds on favorite of the crowd of 35,616. Edgar Prado picked up the mount with regular rider Jerry Bailey at Arlington Park. Trainer Bob Frankel hinted he might train her up to the Breeders' Cup Distaff at Belmont Park.

The Bob Frankel WeekendWhat a weekend for trainer Bob Frankel and Juddmonte Farm ! They had runners in Graded stakes all over the country and frequented the winner's circle in all of their efforts. The Success of Flute in the Grade I Alabama Stakes for three-year-old fillies at a mile and a quarter was just the start. On Sunday, Aptitude won the Grade II Saratoga Breeders' Cup Handicap. On the west coast Juddmonte color bearer Skimming captured the Grade I Pacific Classic just twenty minutes after Aptitude's win. Frankel also trained The Seven Seas who finished second in the Grade I Beverly D Stakes at Arlington Park on Saturday.
